This is Hannah, our brand new petite gingham smock midaxi dress, and boy has it been tough keeping her a secret. Equal parts practical and gorgeous, this is your go-to day dress: comfy, flattering, and a complete outfit for warm or cool days. Made from a premium cotton, she’s light, soft, and breathable, with pretty design details and deep side pockets. Shirred on the bust for the ultimate fit, Hannah really is a hero piece. We’ll even let her take the credit.

Hannah fits true to size with flexibility due to her loose skirt and elasticated bust. Choose the size closest to your bust and waist, and if in doubt, size down. Length from bust line to hem is approximately 101cm.

This is a soft, natural 100% cotton.
Wash at 30°C with similar colours. Hang dry and iron on a medium setting. Don't tumble dry or dry clean.

It’s my favourite dress, it feels so comfortable to wear I know it’ll be a staple for many years to come. Only regret is not buying it in the seafoam colour!
I’ve loved wearing Hannah (seafoam) so far this summer, she is so easy to wear and a beautiful colour. I like being able to dress the sleeves up or down depending on my mood. Great for the British summer too, providing a bit more coverage. I also love the ruffled hem. Was thrilled to grab her in Laura’s birthday sale, just in time for my wedding anniversary!
Cannot find any fault in this dress!! The material is extremely high quality, its light and stretchy, it fits over my 40 week baby bump effortlessly and also doesn't make my chest look tight either. Thank you so much for making this dress, can't wait to see what else you make!
Love the silhouette, colour, and fit! Pockets are v cute and handy feature but not very deep so I wouldn’t feel confident putting much in them. My only concern is that the stitching that attaches the sleeves to the bodice feels slightly loose, hopefully it will survive many washes to come as I intend to wear it A LOT, it’s SO sweet, I’ve already worn it three times
I've literally this second received my Hannah dress and now I've put her on, I don't want to take her off. Laura always does such a good job of describing colours and fabrics, but even that doesn't do this justice. I'm so used to things making my chest feel uncomfortable- this doesn't. It skim my hips (where I'm currently holding some stress weight) its comfortable on my stomach. The colour is lush. Even my husband (who thought it was "alright" from the pics on the website) had a very enthusiastic response and confirmed that it's so much nicer in person and fit really well.
